Awaiting snow in Laredo Texas--ok it really did snow on Christmas Eve in 2004! We are 5 1/2 miles north of the Mexico/U.S. border, and the line of vehicles waiting to cross into Mexico stretches for miles. These assorted cars/trucks/and in between are loaded with gifts. The U.S. natives called the returning Mexicans "Paisanos"--which I believe is Italian for "friends"
